Product Description

This is an antique Japanese Kanban, store sign from eye medicine. This medicine is called Shinjusan, used for eye. Shinju is a pearl which was believed to be good for eye during Edo period and was very popular.This Shinjusan was made in Echigo, Nigata prefecture. Because it is for eye, both side have stunning eyes with great backgrounds.
